Rhineer, Jr., 78, entered into rest Sunday, June 3, 2012, at Manor Care, Elizabethtown. Born March 21, 1933, he was a son of the late Paul M., and Anna Mae (Vanderslice) Rhineer. Paul is survived by his sons, Paul M. and Jeremy Rhineer; his sister, Helen A. Bleacher; and a grandson, Justin P.M. Rhineer. Mr. Rhineer was preceded in death by two brothers, Parke E. and John M. Rhineer. Mr. Rhineer was a truck driver for ABF, retiring after over 20 years service. Paul was a member of Teamsters, Local #776, Carlisle. During the Korean Conflict, Mr. Rhineer served our country in the U.S. Air Force. In his younger years, Paul worked on various farms in the Willow Street area. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, at Boehms United Methodist Church Cemetery, 11 W. Boehms Road, Willow Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. The Gundel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
