M. shabodeho@aol.com July 16, 2012, 11:52 am Published in Lebanon Daily News on June 30, 2012 ANNVILLE Donna Kay (Snyder) Ripple, 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at home surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald L. Ripple. She was born Saturday, May 1, 1937, in Allenport, to the late Howard and Ida (Burge) Snyder. She graduated from Captain Jack High School in 1955, was a member of Campbelltown United Methodist Church, and worked as a rural letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She was a faithful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who led by example and love. She is survived by three daughters, Cathy J. Shifflett and husband, Steve of Lebanon, Tammy M. Deimler of Annville, and Dawn R. Ripple of Harrisburg; six grandchildren, Mandy Keller of Lebanon, Justin Keller and wife, Val of Annville, Courtney Shifflett of Newmanstown, Frederick Deimler of Annville, and Michelle and Montrell Wilkerson of Harrisburg; six great- grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Snyder of Allenport; and two brothers, Donald Snyder and wife, Diane of Allenport, and Rodney Snyder and wife, Helen of Carlisle. She was predeceased by a brother, Pete Snyder. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 2, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078 with the Rev. Kerry W. Bart officiating. Family and friends are invited for visitation from noon until time of services. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Campbelltown United Methodist Church, Campbelltown, Pa., or the American Lung Association, Camp Hill, Pa.
