  PALMYRA Charles G. "Rocky" Rockwell, 92, died on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 
  his residence. He was the husband of Marina Garcia Rockwell to whom he was 
  married for 56 years. Born in Dover, N.J. on October 31, 1919, he was the son 
  of the late Charles S. and Cora Mae Winters Rockwell. He graduated from Pompton 
  Lake High School and Patterson Business College. Charles proudly served his 
  country during WWII in the U.S. Army. He was an office manager at the National 
  Cash Register Company in Fairlawn, N.J. He was a member of the First 
  Evangelical Congregational Church, Palmyra, a deacon in the Calvary Bible 
  Church in West Milford, N.J. and was active in the Passaic County Child 
  Evangelism Fellowship. Rocky enjoyed collecting coins, fishing and gardening. 
  Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons, Daniel Rockwell and wife Cynthia 
  of Elizabethtown, Ronald Rockwell, Gerald Rockwell and wife Gwen of 
  Switzerland, Fla.; daughters, Laurel Dubble of Palmyra, Allison Rockwell of 
  Palmyra, and Doris wife of Steven Blake of Lakeland, Fla.; and 12 
  grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, George Rockwell; 
  and a sister, Beatrice Nettles. Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 
  10:30 a.m. from the First E.C. Church, 55 W. Main St., Palmyra 17078. 
  Visitation will be held one hour prior the service at the Church. Inurnment 
  will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to the 
  Hospice of Lancaster County, Lancaster, Pa., in Rocky's memory.
