M. shabodeho@aol.com August 27, 2012, 11:52 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on August 23, 2012 PALMYRA Margaret Anna (Lutz) Saltzer, 86, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, in Cedar Haven Nursing Home, Lebanon. She was predeceased by her loving husband Henry Allen Saltzer, Jr. in 1974. She was born Wednesday, January 13, 1926, in Jefferson Township to the late Charles C. and Nora S. (Lengel) Lutz. She is survived by three sons, Donald L. Lutz, John H. Saltzer and wife Donna K., David A. Saltzer and wife Kathleen M.; 10 grandchildren, Andrew Saltzer, Bridget Saltzer, Debbie Lauver and husband Terry, Steve Winters, Scott Winters and wife Kathy, Randy Winters and wife Amy, Jeremy Saltzer and wife Vickie, Terry Lutz and wife Beverly, Charity Pavlesich and husband Steve, and Cherish Vazquez and husband Anthony; nine great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mildred Gerhart and Alva Kreiser. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Jeanne Winters; and a great grandson, Dylan Pavlesich. Margaret worked for S. Kantor Company as a seamstress for many years. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bellgrove. She enjoyed dining out and playing cards especially pinochle. She was a loving family woman and enjoyed the time she was able to spend with her family. Family and friends are invited for viewing on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Rodney W. Lilley officiating, with viewing from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow in South Belle Grove Cemetery, Annville.
