Sattazahn, Jr., 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012, in the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home. He was the husband of B. Marion Ohnmacht Sattazahn, to whom he was married for 70 years. Born in Bridgeport, Montgomery County, on February 12, 1921, he was the son of the late William C., Sr. and Agnes T. Stowe Sattazahn. He was a retired meat cutter with over 40 years of service with Laudermilch Meats, Annville. He also was a Docent for 18 years at the Hershey Museum and Stoy Museum, Lebanon. Bill was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific Theatre, and was a 1937 graduate of Annville High School. He was a member of Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, Annville, Mt. Lebanon Lodge #226 F.& A.M., and many other Masonic organizations. He was also a volunteer for many activities at the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Fred W. Sattazahn and wife, Gwen of Cleona; two daughters, Frances E. Sattazahn of Paradise, Faye L., wife of Richard Schuck of Hanover; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Evelyn Shuey of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Alma Jamison of California. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Wayne, David, and Paul Sattazahn; and a sister Catherine Gernert. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. from the DiMatteo Worship Center at the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra, PA 17078. Interment will be in Mt. Annville Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville, is in charge of arrangements.
