  LEBANON Michael H. Shannon, Jr., 70, formerly of Lancaster, passed away on 
  Sunday, June 17, 2012, at the Lebanon Veterans Administration Hospital. Born 
  in Ridley Park, he was the son of the late Michael H., Jr. and Catherine 
  Shannon. He attended Steed College, where he studied accounting, and had 
  worked for DuPont as a lab technician. He was of the Catholic faith. Michael 
  served as a Lance Corporal with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era 
  as a jet engine mechanic. He was the last of his immediate family. Friends are 
  invited to attend a graveside service to be held on Monday, June 25, at 11:30 
  a.m. at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Fred F. Groff, Inc., 
  234 W. Orange St., Lancaster.
