Shoop, 84, formerly of Halifax, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at the Kepler Convalescent Home, Elizabethville, and entered into the presence of the Lord. She was the loving wife of Irvin E. Shoop, who passed away January 19, 1999. Marg was born in Lykens, on May 27, 1928, daughter of the late Earl and Bertha Enders Pell. She was employed by the Millersburger Hotel as a waitress for many years. Throughout her life she enjoyed traveling, camping, and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. Marg was a 1946 graduate of the former Lykens High School She was a member of the Valley's E.C. Church, Halifax; Lykens Alumni Assoc.; Glen Chapter No. 425 Order of the Eastern Star, Lykens; Red Hat Society; and Tall Cedar Cheerettes, Millersburg. She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl A. Rabuck and her husband, Lloyd, Sr. of Jonestown, and Anna M. Warner and her husband, David of Millersburg; a daughter-in-law, Janice Shoop of Halifax; a brother, Donald E. Pell, Sr. and his wife, Alice of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, Lloyd Rabuck, Jr., Richard Rabuck, Michelle Hoy, Corey Shoop, and Kinda Warner; three great- grandchildren, Jackson Hoy, Reagan Rabuck and Abigail Rabuck; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 21, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the John R. Shultz Funeral Home, 406 Market St., Lykens, with Pastor Jonathan Albright officiating. Eastern Star Services will begin at 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. There will be a viewing from 9:45 a.m. until the time of the Eastern Star services. Interment will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax. Contributions may be made in Margaret's memory to Alzheimer's Association , Washington, D.C.; or Compassionate Care Hospice, Camp Hill, Pa.
