  Ardell B. Smith 
   
  MYERSTOWN Ardell B. Smith, 89, died Friday, April 20, 2012, at the Good 
  Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Margaret J. (Mays) Smith, 
  who died December 16, 2002. Born in Myerstown, on February 25, 1923, he was 
  the son of the late Raymond T. and Eva (Jones) Smith. He served in the U.S. 
  Army during WWII and was employed as a supervisor at Sterling Drug, Inc., 
  Myerstown, for 37 years, retiring in 1985. He is survived by a son, Randy 
  Smith of Myerstown; grandchildren, Chris Bomberger, Lora Border, Robert 
  Maurer, and Andrew Lawrence; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-
  grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughters, Sharon Bomberger in 1972 
  and Ingrid Lawrence in 1996. Mr. Smith requested there be no services. 
  Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap 
  National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, is 
  entrusted with the arrangements.
