  Herman M. Smith 
  
  NEWMANSTOWN Herman M. Smith, 90, formerly of Millbach, died Friday, April 6, 
  2012, at his residence. Born in Rehrersburg, on October 9, 1921, he was the 
  son of the late Milton and Minnie Smith. He attended Rehrersburg School, was 
  self-employed as a farmer in Millbach for more than 70 years, worshipped in 
  the Lutheran Faith, and enjoyed raising fruits and vegetables on his farm. He 
  is survived by sisters, Blanche Bullian of Lebanon and Evelyn Smith of Mt. 
  Aetna; brother, Paul Smith of Fredericksburg; and several nieces and nephews. 
  He was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Smith. Funeral services will be 
  held Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at 2 p.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. 
  Washington Ave., Myerstown. Viewing at 1 p.m. Interment at Altalaha Lutheran 
  Church Cemetery, Rehrersburg.
