    MYERSTOWN Harry R. Snyder, 82, of Myerstown, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at 
    his residence. He was the husband of the late Lois Snyder. Born in Frystown, on 
    March 29, 1930, he was the son of the late Lester D. and Anna E. (Risser) 
    Snyder. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and worked at Quaker 
    Alloy, Myerstown, for about 30 years. A member of the Myerstown VFW, and the 
    Goodwill Fire Co., he loved boating, hunting and fishing. He is survived by 
    sisters, Anna Mae wife of Leon Kline of Lebanon, Kathleen Layser of Myerstown; 
    several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Filler; 
    brothers, Lester Daniel, Willoughby, Robert, James and Kenneth Snyder. A 
    graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Indiantown 
    Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may 
    be made to The Arthritis Foundation, Camp Hill, PA.  Grose Funeral Home, 
    Myerstown, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
