M. shabodeho@aol.com June 3, 2012, 11:07 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on May 26, 2012 Mary H. Stachow ANNVILLE Mary H. Stachow, 93, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, in her residence. She was the wife of Frank E. Stachow, who died in 1982. Born in Binghamton, N.Y., on February 17, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Michael J., Sr. and Catherine Simek Cupina. Mary graduated from Binghamton High School. She was an active member of St. Paul the Apostle Church, Annville, especially with the Council of Catholic Women, and she was a longtime supporter of the Lebanon Valley College community. Surviving are six sons, Andrew Stachow of Randolph, N.J., David Stachow of Lebanon, Richard Stachow of Ashville, N.C., Robert Stachow of Arlington, Texas, Patrick Stachow of Annville, and Michael Stachow of Portland, Ore.; four daughters, Sister Mary Ann Stachow, SBS of New Orleans, La., Elizabeth, wife of Robert Gutherie of Newport News, Va., Frances, wife of Mark Seeger of Lemoyne, and Susan Landersman of Harrisburg; a brother, Michael Cupina and wife, Lillian of Mooresville, N.C.; a sister, Evelyn, wife of Anthony Napierala of Johnson City, N.Y.; brother-in-law, Joseph Stachow of Norfolk, Va.; sister-in-law, Betty McKinley of Hornell, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by two sisters, Theresa Bezek and Irene LaRue. Friends, family and the community are invited to a Celebration Memorial Mass on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from St. Paul the Apostle Church, 125 S. Spruce St., Annville. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. A visitation and Celebration of her Life will be held immediately after the Memorial Mass in the Church Social Hall. There will be no viewing. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville, is in charge of arrangements.
