  POTOMAC, MD Elizabeth Douple Stevens, 93, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 in 
  the Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington, D.C. She was the wife of William H. 
  Stevens who passed away November 5, 2001. She was born in Lebanon on November 
  28, 1918, daughter of the late Edwin and Helen Miller Douple. She was a retired 
  school teacher having taught in the Philadelphia area. She was a member of the 
  Fourth Presbyterian Church, Bethesda, Md. She is survived by a son, William H. 
  Stevens, Washington D.C.; daughter, Carol Ann, wife of Paul Miller, 
  Millersburg, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She 
  was preceded in death by a son, James Whitney Stevens; brothers, Richard and 
  Frederick Douple. Casket Burial was made in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon. 
  Arrangements Entrusted to Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation 
  Services, Ltd., Lebanon.
