Stickler, 89, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Loretta M. Hoffman Stickler. Born in Union Twp., on May 30, 1923, he was the son of the late John A. and Alice R. Ober Stickler. Roy served in the U.S. Army during WW II in the European Theater. He retired as a Chief Warrant Officer from the PA Army National Guard after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Fredericksburg American Legion. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Richard A. Stickler and his wife, Shirley of Myerstown; step-son, Jeffrey L. Stuppy and his wife, Deborah of Jonestown; step-daughter, Colleen A. Stuppy of Havertown; brother, Howard Stickler of Lebanon; sister, Annabelle Loose of Jonestown; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters, and his step-son, Robert Stuppy. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Grandview Memorial Park, Annville. Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown, are handling the arrangements.
