Stober, 90, died Saturday, March 3, 2012, in Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. He was the husband of the late Hilda I. Stoner Stober who died in 2010. Born in Annville on March 14, 1921, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Carrie Howard Stober. Joseph was a WWII veteran and served sixteen years in the U.S. Navy. He was a truck driver with Halls Trucking in Harrisburg for 27 years before his retirement and loved gardening, fishing, a well manicured lawn and was an avid bird watcher. He is survived by three sisters, Lucille Bowman, Arlene Zeiters and Elizabeth Viozzi, all of Annville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory 618 E. Main St. Annville. Interment with full military honors will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, E. Hanover Twp. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
