Strickler, 82, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, of Natural Causes in Spruce Manor, where he was a guest since March 5th. He was the husband of Mary E. (Tanner) Strickler, who died December 18, 2007. Born November 30, 1929, in Womelsdorf, he was the son of the late Ralph W. and Elsie B. (Beidler) Strickler. He was a machine operator for Hoffman Industries, Sinking Spring. He was a member of Pioneer Hose Co., Robesonia, and a life member of Rescue Fire Co., Mt. Aetna, the Summit Station Fire Co., "R" Field and Stream, Lebanon, and the NRA. He is survived by his step- daughter, Elizabeth A. (Tanner) Leiby, wife of Clarence, Danville; two nieces and two nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, John B. Strickler, R. Franklin Strickler, and Annabel M. Moyer. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 26, 2012, at 2 p.m. from the Hetrick-Mull Funeral Home, Inc., 27 E. High St., Womelsdorf, PA 19567. Burial will be private in Womelsdorf Union Cemetery. Friends may call Monday, from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
