  PALMYRA Terry L. Swope, 50, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2012, at 
  home with his family. Born August 25, 1961, in Lebanon, he was a service 
  advisor for Lehman Motors, Mechanicsburg and enjoyed sports of many kinds 
  including baseball, football, racing, and golf. He will be remembered for his 
  devotion to his family. Surviving are his wife, Judy (Martin) Swope; children, 
  Ryan Swope and Kassie Swope of Palmyra; step daughter, Angela Morrison of 
  Palmyra; his parents, Paul and Helen (Boltz) Swope of Fredericksburg; siblings, 
  Cindy Mease of Jonestown, Edward Swope of Enola, Robert Swope of Annville and 
  Alan Swope of Carlisle; grandson, Brandon Morrison. A funeral service will be 
  held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, 131 Gravel Hill 
  Road, Palmyra preceded by a visitation from 1 p.m. Interment in the adjoining 
  Gravel Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer 
  Society.
