  ANNVILLE Elizabeth G. Tobias, 81, formerly of Cleona died Thursday August 2, 
  2012 in the Lebanon Valley Home, Annville. She was the wife of Lawrence 
  W. "Toby" Tobias, who died in 2005. Born in Lebanon, on November 5, 1930, she 
  was the daughter of the late Fred and Esther Heim Hess. She was employed as a 
  secretary for Tobias Speed Equipment, Lebanon. Elizabeth especially loved her 
  great-grandchildren and her smile and laughter always lit up the room. She is 
  survived by and legal guardian to Tabitha "Tobias", wife of Douglas Hummer of 
  Hummelstown; a son, Gerald "Toby", husband of Debra Tobias of Cleona; three 
  daughters, Michele Brittian of Anchorage, Alaska, Penny Tobias of Hershey, and 
  Lori Tobias Christiansen and husband, Chan of Newport, Ore.; two brothers, 
  Herbert Hess of Georgia and Jack Hess of Tennessee; eight grandchildren; eight 
  great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and 
  nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Howard Hess and a sister 
  Kathryn Carpenter. Memorial services will be held on Monday, August 20, 2012, 
  at 10 a.m. from the Chapel of the Lebanon Valley Home, 550 E. Main St., 
  Annville. Inurnment will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. 
  Visitation will be held on Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the service at the 
  Chapel. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County.  
  Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville is in charge of arrangements.
