She was born on Thursday, May 19, 1921, to the late Eugene Hershey and Elizabeth Hershey nee Baum in Lebanon. She was a member of Midway Church of the Brethren. She worked at Hershey Foods for 33 years and was a LPN. She enjoyed antiques and traveling. She graduated from South Lebanon High School in 1938 and was a member of Farmwomen Group #16 and Homebuilders Class. Surviving are son, James Trostle of Quentin; daughter, Elizabeth (Joe) Kyer of Doylestown, Ohio; grandchildren, Ryan Trostle of Brooklyn, N.Y., Justin Kyer of Akron, Ohio, and Allyson, spouse of Mike Komaschka of Clemmons, N.C. She was preceded in death by husband, LeRoy C. Trostle. Viewing will be on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to GSH Hospice, Lebanon, Pa. Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the family with the arrangements.
