Uhrich, 83, of the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, while receiving hospice care in the Royer Greenhouse. She was the former wife of the late Charles R. Uhrich. Born in Elizabethtown, on July 24, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Virgil C. and Beulah C. Nissley Sayger. She was retired from the Hershey Foods Corp. wrapping department after 43 years of service. Betty attended Lebanon Valley Bible Church and held bible studies in her home. She enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, traveling, siteseeing, and going to Longwood Gardens and Shady Maple. Surviving are a brother, Arnold L. Sayger of Pinetta, Fla.; a sister, Lorna Miller of Highspire; a niece, Renee Sayger Beitler of Philadelphia; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by a son, Darl Uhrich. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Hanoverdale Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the service.
