M. shabodeho@aol.com January 21, 2012, 2:12 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on January 9, 2012 Evelyn Rose Weaver STOUCHSBURG Evelyn Rose Stanford Weaver, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012, in the Colonial Park Care Center. Born in Harrisburg, on December 18, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Richard W. and Marie Myers Stanford. Rose was an art teacher for Valley Forge Christian Academy and also for Conrad Weiser Elementary School, Berks County. She was a 1960 graduate of Susquehanna High School. After graduation, Rose studied the Bible and Art at Berean Bible School and Elizabethtown College. Rose, a devoted follower of Jesus, enjoyed nature, singing, playing the piano, interior decorating, and was active in Civil Ware Living History. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Robert C. Weaver, whom she married on December 8, 1988; three daughters, Rachel R. Luckenbill of Pittsburgh, Rebecka M. Luckenbill of Enola, and Judith A. Blair wife of Jason of Bellefonte; a son, Jeremy E. Luckenbill of Winer, Ga.; a sister, Joan M. Peterson of Dauphin; a brother, Richard L. Stanford husband of Freda also of Dauphin; and four grandchildren, John Lose, Belinda Bisko, Samantha Lose, and James Lose. A celebration of Rose's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in Grace Bible Fellowship Church, 1250 Colonial Road, Harrisburg, with the Rev. Tim Bouffard, of Mt. Aetna Bible Church, officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 a.m. until time of the services. Interment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Township, at the convenience of the family, with Pastor Jay E. McCumber, of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, officiating. Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 W. Main St., Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements.
