  Bernice J. Weidman 
  
  LEBANON Bernice J. "Bernie" Weidman, 94, formerly of Hearthstone, died on 
  Friday, February 10, 2012 at Cedar Haven. She was born on Thursday, October 
  18, 1917 to the late Robert Jonathan Weidman and Emma Weidman nee Lasch in 
  Lebanon. Formerly of Guilford Street, where she resided with her sister, she 
  graduated from LHS in 1935. She worked at AS Kreider Shoe Factory, Annville, 
  Lebanon Steel Foundry, Lebanon, Lustberg Nast & Co., Lebanon and Everite 
  Knitting Mills, Lebanon; she retired after 33 years. Bernice enjoyed cooking, 
  classical music, movies and broadway shows. She was a former member of Bethany 
  EUB Church and was a caregiver to her mother & stepfather. Bernice was a 
  breast cancer survivor in 1963 and 1990. She was preceded in death, in 
  addition to her parents, by her stepfather, Herman A. Lasch; sister, Ruthie 
  Weidman, Lebanon; brother, James R. Lasch, Lebanon; sister, Hilda Flocken, 
  Lebanon; brother, Donald Lasch, Cleona. She is survived by sister, Doris J. 
  Lasch, Lebanon. Services will be at the convenience of the family.  
  Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the family with the 
  arrangements.
