  John R. Weik Jr. 
   
  LEBANON John R. Weik, Jr., 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at his 
  home. He was the husband of Dorothy J. Carmany Weik. On Sunday, May 13, they 
  would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. Born in Lebanon, on 
  October 12, 1929, he was the son of the late John and Lydia Kneasel Weik. He 
  retired from the former Sower's Printing Co., in Lebanon. John was a member of 
  the Ebenezer United Methodist Church and the Myerstown Rod & Gun Club. He 
  especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and playing cards. In addition 
  to his wife, John is survived by his son, Raymond A., husband of Lana Weik of 
  Lebanon; daughters, Cherrie A., wife of Barry Boeshore of Jonestown, Roseann 
  M., wife of George Marinkov of Lebanon and Cathy A., wife of Joseph Tyrpin of 
  Pine Grove; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in 
  death by his brothers, Donald Weik and Joseph Strainer, and a sister, Margaret 
  Berkheiser. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Kreamer 
  & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. Viewing 
  will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Zoar's 
  Lutheran Cemetery, Mt. Zion.
