  Larry P. Westhafer 
  
  JONESTOWN Larry P. Westhafer, 67, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at 
  the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Nancy K. Yeagley 
  Westhafer and on August 31st, they would have celebrated their 38th wedding 
  anniversary. Born in Lebanon, on October 9, 1944, he was the son of the late 
  Harry and Mary Blair Westhafer. He retired from Met-Ed as a lineman/trouble 
  man in 2004, where he was a member of the International Brotherhood of 
  Electrical Workers. Larry attended the Trinity United Methodist Church in 
  Lickdale. He was an active member of the Doc Fritchey Chapter - Trout 
  Unlimited and the Stony Creek Valley Coalition. He was also a founding member 
  and leader at the Rauch Gap Deacidification Project for 25 years. Larry 
  enjoyed everything about the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and 
  hiking. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Dr. Jennifer 
  L. wife of Adam R. Zahniser of New Wilmington and granddaughter, Claire 
  Olivia; brother, Richard, husband of Susan Westhafer of Jonestown; sisters, 
  Grace, wife of William Rutter and Gloria Kaufold, both of Lebanon. Funeral 
  services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist 
  Church, 98 Fisher Ave., Jonestown. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the 
  service at the church. Interment will be at the Indiantown Gap National 
  Cemetery on Monday at 9 a.m. Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, 
  Jonestown, is in charge of the arrangements.
