Wolfe HEIDELBERG TOWNSHIP George Washington Wolfe, 84, died Monday, April 2, 2012 of natural causes in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Born February 22, 1928, in Sinking Spring, he was the son of the late George F. & Selah (Schell) Wolfe. George was in charge of the receiving department for the former Gloray Knitting Mill, Robesonia for 41 years. He was also a veteran of WWII having served in the Navy. He was a member of Tulpehocken (Trinity) United Church of Christ, Millardsville, Lebanon Co., and was a life member of the Womelsdorf VFW, the Womelsdorf Rod & Gun Club, the Womelsdorf Fire Co., and the Marion Twp. Rod & Gun Club. He is survived by his children, Terrence A., husband of Ruth A. Wolfe, Heidelberg Twp., Leonard G., husband of Linda M. Wolfe, Bernville, and Thomas E. Wolfe, Lebanon; seven grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren also survive. He was predeceased by his daughter, Lynette (Wolfe) Gaskin, in 2000 and by his sister, Eleanor Luckenbill, and a grandson, Leonard G. Wolfe, Jr. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, at 10 a.m. from the Hetrick-Mull Funeral Home, Inc., 27 East High St., Womelsdorf, PA 19567. Burial with military honors will follow in Tulpehocken Trinity Church Cemetery, Millardsville. Friends may call Wednesday, from 79 p.m. and Thursday, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
