    LEBANON Helena M. Yordy, 90, passed away in Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon on 
    Sunday, July 15, 2012. She was born in Tulpehocken Twp., a daughter of the late 
    Adam and Bessie Jennie Thierwechter Gernert. Mrs. Yordy was retired from 
    Everite Knitting Mills, Berkshire Mills and volunteered at the Good Samaritan 
    Hospital for 10 years. She was a member of the Senior Citizen Group at 1st 
    Baptist Church, Retired Steel Workers, Lebanon Senior Center, Life Member of 
    Mt. Zion Fire Co. and Friendship Fire Co. Surviving are her children, Mildred, 
    wife of Leroy Hess of Mechanicsburg; Sherman, husband of Alice Emerich of 
    Lebanon; Mary Ann, wife of Kenneth Krammes of Lebanon and Kathleen, wife of 
    Randall Stroh of Lebanon; grandchildren: James Brandt of Carlisle; Jane Vitalo 
    of Sinking Spring; Carol Blouch of Richland; Nancy Dove of Lebanon; Gina Marie 
    Boehler of Lebanon and Randall Stroh Jr. of Lebanon; eight great-grandchildren; 
    several nieces and nephews. Helena was preceded in death by a great grandson 
    Robert Stroh, four sisters and three brothers. A Funeral Service will be held 
    on Friday in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, Pa., 
    17042 at 11 a.m. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the 
    service. Interment will be in Covenant Greenwood Cemetery, Lebanon. 
    Contributions may be made in Helena's memory to her church St. Mark's U.C.C., 
    Lebanon, Pa.
