  Verna S. Zangari 
   
  PALMYRA Verna Zangari, born Verna Surace, passed away on Monday, March 26, 
  2012, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. Born and raised in Hershey, she was 
  a 1946 graduate of Hershey High School, and she was retired from The Derry 
  Township Tax Association in Hershey. She was also employed by the former 
  Spinner's Motor Inn of Hershey. She was a member of The Church of the Holy 
  Spirit in Palmyra, the Ladies Auxiliary of The Hershey Italian Lodge, and the 
  Areba Club of Hershey. She was preceded in death by three children, Philip, 
  Rosemary, and Eugene Zangari; and a brother, Joe Surace of Florida. She is 
  survived by three children, Nicholas, Mary Ann, and Joseph, all of Palmyra; 
  three grandsons; a granddaughter; three great-grandchildren; a sister, 
  Veronica Keck of Palmyra; a brother, Marino Gaspari of Harrisburg; and several 
  nieces and nephews. Verna was the kindest and happiest lady that anyone could 
  know.She loved happy times with family and friends, and good fellowship with 
  all, loving everyone that she ever met. She endured every hardship that was 
  sent her way with the utmost dignity, answering all with Christian love and 
  understanding. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:30 
  a.m. with a visitation from 10:30 a.m. until time of the service at the Church 
  of the Holy Spirit, 245 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078 with Father James F. 
  Podlesny as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Hershey Cemetery, Hershey. 
  Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation 
  Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra.
