Mark, a highly respected retired farmer, died at the residence of his son, Adam S. Mark, in South Lebanon township, about one mile from Iona, aged 83 years. Deceased was sick about two weeks, the direct cause of his death being heart trouble. He was born and resided in the vicinity of the Water works all his life up to nine years ago, when he and his wife quit housekeeping and went to their son, where he died. He led an upright christian life and for many years was one of the pillars of the U. B. church. He will be buried this morning at the cemetery adjoining the U. B. church; at the Water works, with services in the church adjoining. He is survived by his wife and an only son, Adam S. Mark. Lebanon Daily Times, October 19, 1900
