CONSIGNED TO THE TOMB

  Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Annie Muth, took place from the 
home of her son, J. H. Muth, Monday forenoon.  After a short service at the 
house the cortege proceeded to Royer's German Baptist Meeting house where 
services proper were conducted by Revs. Wm. Oberholtzer and Jacob Nissley.  
Interment was made on cemetery adjoining.  The popularity of the aged lady 
occasioned a very large funeral.  The pall bearers were:  Joseph Krall, 
Martin Hacker, William Dubble, Jeremiah Klick, Daniel Witters and Aaron 
Katzaman.  Refreshments were served to almost 100 persons at the Crouse 
House, John S. Gockley, proprietor.
