Russell, D.D., died at his home in Waynesboro, Pa., on Sunday, death having been due to infirmities of old age. Dr. Russell was active the greater part of his life in educational work of the Reformed Church and for two years he served as president of Palatinate College, now Albright College, this place. He graduated from Marshall College in 1849 and from the Seminary in 1853. For years he edited a number of church papers and was the founder of the first Sunday School paper.
