Services over the remains of Samuel Shiner, sr., were held yesterday afternoon 
at his late residence, on Mifflin street, near Eleventh, and were very largely 
attended.  Revs. J. and I. E. Runk, pastors of Salem U. B. church, officiated at 
the funeral and interment was made at Ebenezer.  Jas. F. McGovern was the 
undertaker.
