DEATH OF JOHN K. SPAYD

  John K. Spayd, of Lebanon, died on Saturday at the advanced age of 86 
years.  Deceased had been ailing for several days with general debility.  He 
leaves to survive his widow, two sons and two daughters.  The funeral took 
place on Wednesday afternoon.
  Mr. Spayd was a member of Myerstown Lodge No. 358, I.O.O.F. , of this 
place, and the rites of the order were solemnized at the grave.  Those 
officiating as pallbearers were Cornelius Loose, Samuel E. Kreitzer, John 
Dishong, A. B. Landis, Charles Smith and Alvin H. Bender, all of this place 
and fellow members of the order.
