The lady had been ailing practically one year with a complication of diseases and for several months was an invalid. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Davilla Peiffer, of near this place, both of whom preceded her in death less than six months ago. Mrs. Walborn was an estimable lady and aged 45 years. Surviving is her husband, one daughter Miss Edna and one son Lloyd, both at home, besides two brothers residing on the Peiffer homestead, near Spannuth's store. The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon. Services were conducted in the Reformed church, of which she was a member, by Rev. J. Lewis Fluck, assisted by Rev. Youse, of the Lutheran church. Interment was made on New cemetery. The pallbearers were Ed. Spangler, S. E. Kreitzer, A. G. Price, Geo. Bricker, W. H. Price and Frank Yingst. During her many days of illness, Mrs. Walborn was a patient sufferer but with all the agony she calmly awaited the time when her misery would end in peaceful rest. She was a devoted christian woman and by request the choirs of the Reformed and Lutheran churches visited the home at various times and cheered her on by singing sacred hymns and anthems, together with fervent prayers by the pastors of the respective congregations. Myerstown Enterprise, January 24, 1908 Note: Samuel E. (33), Mary E. (37), Loyd H. (9) and Edna E. (8) appear in the 1900 Jackson Township, Lebanon County census.
