Johnson Long, pastor of Christ's Lutheran church, near Stouchsburg, Mr. Henry Huber, of near this place, and Miss Mary K. Haas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Haas, of Mt. Aetna, were united in marriage. The ceremony was private and occurred at high noon, on last Saturday. After the newly married couple returned to the home of the bride's parents a wedding reception was tendered them. Those present beside the newly married couple and the bride's parents were the following: Mr. and Mrs. Landis Haas, of this place; Hiram Haas and wife, George Haas and wife, William Fieman and wife, Henry Forry and wife, all of Mt. Aetna. Mr. and Mrs. Huber will reside with the parents of the bride until Tuesday, of next week, when they will take up their residence in Hamlin. Recently Mr. Huber purchased the old Haas store in that place, and will engage in the general merchandise business. Both bride and groom are highly respected young people, the groom being familiarly known at this place. Until recently he managed his farm in North Jackson township and before that was engaged in the grocery business, at Harrisburg. He is a graduate of the Myerstown High School.
