He had suffered for some time with kidney trouble. His wife preceded him in death sixteen years ago. He is survived by three sons and one daughter, as follows: Harrison, Cosue, and Andrew of Coplay, and Mrs. Frank Diehl, of Fullerton. Funeral services will be held from the residence of his son, with whom he had lived for many years, on Wednesday morning at 9.30 o'clock, with regular services and interment at Jordan Lutheran Church, Rev. H. E. Semmel officiating. The funeral of Leon Kuhns took place Thursday afternoon from the home of his son, Horace Kuhns, on Third street, Coplay, and was largely attended. Short services were held at the house with further services in Jordan Lutheran Church and interment in the cemetery adjoining. Rev. H E. Semmel preached in German and English. The pallbearers were his three sons, Horace, Kossuth and Andrew, and three grandsons, Leon Kuhns and Elmer and Frank Diehl.
