She had been a bride of less than a year, and the announcement, of her demise was received with sorrow by all knowing her. She had not yet departed from under the parental roof —it nut having been in contemplation to take up housekeeping before next spring. Blessed with many of God's choicest gifts, she had that character, beauty and refinement that made her the center of a large circle of young friends, and with these possessed a modest simplicity that attracted every one to her, and caused all to admire and many to love her dearly. Kindly, affectionate, sociable and refined —winning by her sweet, gentle disposition friends on every side—just when the world looked most cheerful and life most enjoyable, she was taken front her friends and earth, for another land, leaving sad hearts and tearful eyes behind. Her funeral took place at the Jordan Lutheran Church on the 20th, Revs. Leopold and Schindel officiating. The sympathies of the community go out to the mourning husband.
