Born in Plymouth, son of the late John and Sophie Byorick, he was employed as a platform boss for the Lance Colliery prior to retiring in 1957. Mr. Byorick was a member and past treasurer of Good Shepherd PNC Church, Plymouth. He was a contributing member of Goodwill Fire Co. No. 2 and a member of the Polish National Alliance No. 484. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Ruth Novak, and brothers and sisters, Michael, Thomas, Frank, Joseph, Margaret, Josephine, Frances, and Helen. Surviving are children; Josephine, at home; Edward, Columbia, S.C.; Mrs. Anna Parker, Cherry Hill, N.J.; Mrs. James (Ruth) Rifendifer, Plymouth; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral will be held Saturday at 9 from the Stanley J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Good Shepherd PNC Church. Interment in the parish cemetery.
