CHARLES ECKHART DIES
	Charles ECKHART, aged 78, well known resident of Plainsville, died 
early yesterday morning following several weeks’ illness of complications.
	Mr. Eckhart was born at Saylor’s Corners, Plainsville, and was widely 
known in that section.  He had been employed for many years as an artesian well 
driller.  He was a devout member of Plains M.E. church and was affiliated with 
Pittston lodge, F. & A.M.
	Surviving are his widow, and the following sons, Harry, Coaldale; 
Benjamin, Plains; Peter, West Pittston; George, Wyoming, and one sister, Mrs. 
David ROBERTSON, city.  The funeral will be held from the home of his son, 2 
Charles street, Plains, on Monday afternoon at 2.  Interment will be in West 
Pittston cemetery.
