Hubler, who resided at Hublerville, now Huntington Mills, from 1850 to 1876, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. H. Walter, at Pittston, Saturday morning. The deceased had been in failing health for several years and his death was not unexpected. Mr. Hubler was born in Millheim, Centre county, and was in his 78th year. After leaving Huntington Mills he went to Mill City, Wyoming county, where he lived until four years ago, when he moved to West Pittston to spend the balance of his days with his children. His wife survives him at the age of 79. the surviving children are as follows: Dr. P. F. Hubler and Mrs. W. H. Walter of West Pittston; Mrs. Miner Benscoter, of Muhlenburg, this county; A. B. Hubler, of New Albany, Bradford county; Dr. S. Hubler, of Elysburg, Northumberland county, and Jesse R. Hubler, of Mill City. The remains arrived here on the 11:00 train Tuesday morning and were taken to Pine Grove cemetery, near Harveyville, for burial. The funeral services were conducted at Huntington Mills M. E.
