DEATH OF CHARLES YATES
	Charles YATES, aged 78, a former well known and esteemed resident of 
Sugar Notch, died last evening at 8 o’clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. 
Welsey BURKE, New York City, of apoplexy.
	Mr. Yates was a resident of Sugar Notch for seventy years and moved to 
New York about five months ago to make his home with his daughter.  Besides 
Mrs. Burke deceased is survived by the following children: Mrs. Fred BECKETT, 
New York; Mrs. Charles BRADLEY, New York; Benjamin, city, and William, Sugar 
Notch.
