The petition of David Dresher, eldest son and heir of George Dresher late of the township of Sugarloaf in said County, Yeoman, dec'd, humbly Shewith, that the petitioners said father lately died intestate, leaving a Widow Lidia Dresher and issue thirteen Children to Wit: the petitioner, David Dresher, Samuel, Catherine intermarried with Joseph Mastler, Mary, Elizabeth intermarried with Aaron Mostler, Lidia intermarried with Powell Huntzinger, Henry, John, Daniel, Sarah, George, Susan, and Stephen Dresher - the last seven named of whom are in their Minority, and the intestate dies Seized in his demesne as of fee of Six certain Messuages, No. 1 in the township of Sugarloaf in said County - Bounded on the North by land of Andrew McCully, on the East by lands of Michael Smith, Barney Hunsinger and John Nuncaster, on the South by lands of Christian Beningher, on the West by land of Solomon Phifer and Frederick Grouse, Containing three hundred and fifty acres, with the appurtenances - No. 2, 3, 4, 5 Situate in Mifflin Township, Columbia County, Bounded on the North by lands of Geo. Longenberger, on the West by the Susquehannah River, Containing one hundred and fifty acres, More or Less - No. 6 Situate in said Mifflin Township, Columbia County, Bounded on the North by lands of George Longenberger, on the East by land of Charles Nuce, Samuel Nuce, and John Phifer, on the South by lands of George Miller, on the West by lands of George Miller, Containing fifty three acres, and twenty five perches, More or less - The petitioner therefore prays the Court to award an inquest to make partition of the premises aforesaid to and among the children and presentatives of the said intestate, in Such Manner and in such proportions as by the laws of the Commonwealth is directed, if such partition cannot be Made thereof as aforesaid then to Value and appraise the Same and Make report of their proceedings according to law, and he will ever pray, etc. Signed David Dresher Filed Nov. 1, 1847 Writ exit - Dec. 11, 1847
