Written: June 19, 1907 Recorded: December 18, 1913 Book No.739 of 1913, p.597 Will of Elizabeth Leffler I, Elizabeth Leffler of the City of Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding do make and publish this my last wi11 and testament hereby revoking and declaring void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. First I direct that my executor hereinafter named pay out of my estate a1l my just debts and funeral expenses as soon as convenient after my decease. Item; I give, devise and bequeath unto my son, William H. Leffler, all my property, real, personal and mixed, and wheresoever the same may be situated, subject, however, to the payment by him of the sum of two thousand $2000) dollars to my grandson Frederick Leffler Merrill, son of Adrian W. Merrill. Lastly; I do hereby nominate and appoint my said son William H. Leffler to be the executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 19th day of June A.D. 1907. Elizabeth Leffler (seal) Signed, sealed, published and declared as and for the last will and testament of the above named testatrix in our presence who have signed names hereto as witnesses at her request and in her presence and the presence of each other. Gallagher Register of Wills in and for the County aforesaid personally came Charles F.McHugh and George L. Fenner the subscribing witnesses as to the above and foregoing last will and testament of Elizabeth Leffler late of the City of Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County and State of Pennsylvania deceased who being duly sworn according to law, do say that they were present and saw and heard Elizabeth Leffler the testatrix sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for her last will and testament and that at the time of so doing she was of sound mind, memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief and that they did sign their names as subscribing witnesses in the presence of each other and in the presence and at the request of the said testatrix. Having considered the testimony offered in this case and filed the same of record, I do adjudge the foregoing writing to be duly proved as the last will and testament of the said Elizabeth Leffler now deceased, and as such I do enter the same of record according to law.
