Miner >From Luzerne County Court House No. 90 of 1901 May 25, 1900 I Julie E. Miner of the city of Wilkes-Barre do make this my last will and Testament. First I direct my executor herafter named to pay my debts. Second the house and lot now owned by me in the city of Wilkes-Barre the rent or income I give to my sister Helen Hodgs during her life with the privelege of selling as my Executor may think best. I give to Sallie Titus Chisholm Bonds of water Stock five thousand dollars to Henry T. Titus to Penn S. Titus Minnie E. Ensey each one thousand dollars. To my sister Carrie E. Heberton one thousand dollars The income of the rest of my property I give to my sister Helen during her life at her death to Kate Ingham Ella Bowman & Julie B. Mulligan each five hundred dollars. James Harry and Adolf H. Hodgskin each two thousand dollars. To Edward Sterling Hodgskin & Julie Miner Hodgskin I give four thousand dollars each, to Helen Hodgskin two thousand dollars. To Edward Heberton and Julian Miner Ensey five hundred dollar each. Whatever I possess I give to my nephew S. Elleth Hodgskin after the above legacies are paid. In whereof I Julie E. Miner the Testator have this my on one sheet of paper set my hand and seal the twentieth second of May Signed Julie E. Miner Witnesses: Wm. Stoddart El. Stoddart CODICILE Know all men by these presents that I Julie E. Miner of Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania do hereby make and constitute the following as a codicil to my last will and testament. First: I give devise and bequeath to my sister Helen E. Hodgskin of the Borough of Brooklyn New York City the house and lot belonging to me situate in the said city of Wilkes-Barre together with any other real estate which I may own at the time of my decease, to have and to hold in fee simple absolute. Second I bequeath to my neice Sarah T. Chisholm five thousand dollars par value of the Spring Brook Valley water bonds owned by me ($5,000) Third - I bequeath to nephews Pierre Titus and Henry Titus each one thousand ($1,000) dollars - To my niece Minnie E. Ensey two thousand ($2,000) dollars - To my sister Carrie E. Heberton one thousand ($1,000) dollars - To my niece Carrie Heberton five hundred ($500) dollars. Fourth - I give devise and bequeath to my said sister Helen E. Hodgskin during her life the income form all the remainder of my estate. On her death I direct that the principal of said bequest shall be divided as follows: To my nieces Kate Ingham, Ella Bowman and Julia B. Mulligan each five hundred dollars ($500) The balance I direct to be divided into seven equal shares one of such shares I give devise and bequeath to each one of the children of my sister Helen E. Hodgskin except T. Ellett and Adolf H - I give two of such shares to said T. Ellett Hodgskin and none to said Adolf H. for reasons which he understands.
