  Overseers of the poor, Jordan Twp., Lycoming Co., v. Overseers of the poor, 
  Franklin Twp.  Abraham Sybert (overwritten) & wife Mary, paupers, should be 
  removed from Jordan Twp.; notice served Mar. 19, 1858.  
       Jacob Snyder testified: I helped Abraham Sybert move into Franklin 
  Twp. "must be upwards of 20 years ago."
       David Cerdeman testified: My wife is daughter of Abraham Sybert.  He moved 
  on to a lot of 12 or 13 acres in Franklin Twp. near the German church which he 
  bought and paid for & lived on it some 20 years, but it was afterward sold by 
  the Sheriff as Sybert's property & bought by Sybert's son.
       G? P. Lore testified: F. Renn sold Sybert the property & made him the deed 
  & took Sybert's note for the balance of purchase money.  In 1833 I was Constable
  of Franklin & Rein? got out execution & Abraham Sybert paid the judgement.  In 
  1841 I was assessor of Franklin Twp. & assessed 12 acres of land in the name of 
  Abraham Sybert.  
       Philip Young testified: I was Collector of Jordan Twp. 1854 & 1855; Abraham
  Sybert did not pay his taxes for either year & did not pay school taxes for the 
  same years; I was exonerated from collecting them.  I think Sybert moved into 
  Jordan Twp. in the spring of 1854.  
       Wesley Lyons testified: I was Collector of the State, County, & School 
  Taxes for 1856.  Abraham Sybert did not pay his taxes that year.  
       John Foy testified: I was Collector in 1857 & Abraham Sybert did not pay 
  his taxes.  He told me he had no money to pay with.
