Evans & Catherine Hunter to Daniel Will of Limestone Township, Lycoming County, PA, 84 acres, 24 April 1841, Clearfield County Deed Book H:267. This Indenture made the twenty fourth day of April Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and forty one between Evans Hunter of Morris township Clearfield County State of Pennsylvania and Catharine his wife of the first part and Daniel Will of Limestone township Lycoming County and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Evans Hunter and Catherine his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred dollars lawful money of the United States to them in hand paid by the said Daniel Will at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt and payment whereof they do hereby acknowledge and thereof acquit and forever discharge the said Daniel Will his heirs executors and administrators by these presents have granted bargained sold aliened enscoffed released and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien enscoff release and confirm unto the said Daniel Will and to his heirs and assigns all that certain piece of land situate and being in Morris township aforesaid beginning at a Chesnut thence north by David Dales purchase one hundred and four perches to Stones thence East one hundred and thirty four perches to a Maple thence South one hundred and four perches to an oak thence West by William M Hunter's purchase one hundred and thirty four perches to the Chesnut and peace of beginning Containing Eighty four acres and Eighty Six perches and allowance it being the same piece of land which James Allport and Matilda his wife by indenture bearing date the seventh day of March Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine for the consideration therein mentioned did grant and confirm unto the said Evans Hunter and to his heirs and assigns forever as in and by the said in part recited indenture recorded in the office for the recording of deeds in Clearfield town in and for the county of Clearfield in Deed Book G page 218 relation being thereunto had more fully at large appears Together with all and singular the buildings improvements rights liberties privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions remainders rents issues and profits thereof and also all the estate right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever of them the said Evans Hunter and Catharine his wife in law equity or otherwise howsoever of in to or out of the same To have and to hold the said Eighty four acres and Eighty six perches of land hereditaments and premises hereby granted mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the aforesaid Daniel Will his heirs and assigns forever And the said Evans Hunter his heirs executors and administrators do hereby covenant promise grant and agree to and with the said Daniel Will his heirs and assigns by these presents that he the said Evans Hunter his heirs the above mentioned and described premises hereby granted or mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Daniel Will his heirs and assigns against the said Evans Hunter and his heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents In witness whereof the said parties have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above written. Sealed and delivered in the presence of Evans Hunter (seal) And Leonard Catharine Hunter (seal) Recd on the day of the date of the above Indenture of and from the above named Daniel Will Eight hundred dollars in full for the consideration money above mentioned Witness. And Leonard: Clearfield County Evans Hunter Before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace in and for said County personally came the above named Evans Hunter and Catharine his wife and acknowledged the above indenture to be their act and deed to the end that the same might be recorded as such she the said Catharine being of full age and by me separately and apart from her said husband examined and the contents of said indenture being by me fully made known to her on her said private examination she declared that she voluntarily and of her own free will and accord and without any coercion or compulsion on the part of her husband did sign and seal and execute the same In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty fourth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty one.
