All items are found on page 3 of the issue unless specifically noted otherwise. Jan 27, 1899: Mr. and Mrs. Barney Wendell of Newerf were made happy by the arrival of a baby boy on Sunday. Apr 28, 1899: Mr. and Bert Sherwood of East Smethport are rejoicing over the arrival of a fine baby boy, who made his appearance on Saturday evening. Jul 27, 1899: Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Terry, who reside in the Burbank residence on Main street, were made supremely happy last Friday morning by the arrival of two little girl strangers. All are doing well. Oct 5, 1899: Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Raymond of Smethport were made happy on ?? by the arrival of a baby girl. Nov. 30, 1899: The MINER is well pleased too announce that the home of John Vanblad was pleasantly surprised last Sunday night by the arrival of a little girl stranger who sought home and protection from the cold frosty nights of November. John and the good mistress of the house, being charitably inclined, concluded to adopt the little wanderer and give her a comfortable home. John says "it's all right, as I was looking for someone to swing a hammer." Dec 7, 1899: East Smethport: Mr. and Mrs. M. Morey were made happy Wednesday morning by the arrival of a girl baby, mother and babe are doing nicely. Dec 21, 1899: Mr. and Mrs. James Nearing of Quimsby are purchasing paregoric for a little girl stranger who sought a home at their residence lately.
