  Carol Jean Berg Dies in Hospital
  Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Berg
     Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the home 
  of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Berg of Rose Hill avenue, for Carol Jean Berg, aged two 
  years, who died Sunday morning in the Rochester (Pa.) General hospital. The 
  Rev. E. J. Burton, minister of the Smethport Methodist church, officiated. She 
  was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Berg, former residents of Smethport, 
  who had moved to Monaca, Pa.
     Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother, Tommy; her grandfathers, 
  William Cole of Wolfe Run and Charles Berg, of Farmers Valley and several 
  aunts and uncles.
     Those from out-of-town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. James 
  Cole, Kushequa; Mr. and Mrs. Owen Cole and daughter, Warren; Mr. and Mrs. 
  David Francis, Wolfe Run; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Schuman, Lookout, Pa.; Mrs. 
  Reginald Hoover, Oneonta, N. Y.; Mrs. Mabel Keller, Buffalo; Mrs. Hilda 
  Hanson, Mt. Jewett; Mrs. Gonda Bond, Colegrove.
