  DEATH OF MRS. EMMA BERG
     The death of Mrs. Emma Berg of Farmers Valley occurred at 3 o’clock 
  Saturday afternoon at the Bradford hospital, following a surgical operation.
     Deceased had been a patient at the hospital for the past 19 [may not be 19, 
  very hard to read] days. She was 39 [may not be 39, very hard to read] years 
  of age and was an esteemed resident of Smethport vicinity for many years. Mrs. 
  Berg is survived by her husband, Charles Berg, and seven children, one sister, 
  a resident of Jamestown N. Y.
     One of the children of the deceased, a little boy, met death a few weeks 
  ago from the accidental discharge of a shotgun with which the child had been 
  playing.
