  Mrs. Bessie Kemp Dies in Hospital
     Mrs. Bessie Williams Kemp, 52, a native of Smethport, died Sunday morning 
  in the Olean General Hospital. She was a resident of Slack Hollow, Eldred 
  Township, and had been ill for three years.
     Born in Smethport on March 24, 1900, she was married to Mr. Kemp at Olean, 
  May 14, 1918. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Eldred.
     Survivors include besides her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Charles Barnes, 
  Eldred, and Mrs. John Lorah, Smethport; one son, Joseph Kemp, Eldred; mother, 
  Mrs. Lewis Reisinger, Erie; five brothers, Harry Williams, Meadville, Floyd, 
  Paul, James and Gene Williams, all of Erie.
     Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock in a Portville, 
  N. Y., funeral home. The Rev. G. K. Chalfant, pastor of the Eldred Free 
  Methodist Church officiated.
     Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery at Eldred.
