  Frank Nelson
     Port Allegany—Frank Nelson, 72, died in the Port Allegany Community 
  Hospital last Thursday following a lengthy illness.
     He was born Sept. 9, 1897, at Wilcox, a son of the late Alfred and Emma 
  Anderson Nelson.
     Mr. Nelson was a retired glass worker, and had lived here for the past 56 
  years. He was a veteran of World Wars I and II, and a member of Veterans of 
  World War I of the United States, Inc.
     He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Alga (sic) M. Thomas, of Smethport, and 
  several nieces and nephews.
     A funeral service was held at the Gallup Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday 
  with the Rev. Kenneth Soderquist of Gethsemane Lutheran Church officiating. 
  Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
