  Death of Wallace W. Ostrander
     Wallace W. Ostrander died in this borough on Monday morning last in the 
  50th year of his age. The deceased was taken sick about five weeks ago, and 
  from that time until his death was con fined to his bed.
     Wallace Ostrander was a son of Mathew Ostrander, of Liberty township. He 
  was born in Potter county, Sept. 24, 1844, and during the past thirty-one 
  years had been a resident of this borough. On May 19, 1872, he was united in 
  marriage in this borough to Miss Orrissavilla Dunbar, who survives him. This 
  union was blessed with one son, W. A. Ostrander, of this borough.
     Wallace Ostrander was one of a family of 15 children, ten of whom, with the 
  aged father, who is now in the 90th year of his age, survive.
     The funeral was held at the Baptist church Wednesday afternoon. Rev. G. W. 
  Halliwell officiating. The interment took place at Rose Hill cemetery.
